Lindsay Amelia Lawson is 5 Today

Today my little Lindsay-Lu turns 5 years old. She went off to preschool this morning ultra excited! She got to bring special sprinkle cookies to share with her class. She ran into the preschool declaring: "I am now 5 years old! Soon, I will be going to kindergarten!!!!!"
Lindsay is such a sweetheart. Chloe is right about her being spoiled... she kinda is. She's our BABY! She is a funny little girl with a huge imagination and has a love of learning, books and of course, bugs. She's my pal. I so love this time I have with her each day. The others are off to school and Lindsay and I plan our day and hang out. I feel so privileged to be a stay at home mum where I get to be her care taker and get to witness all the joy she has in her life. Her library class, preschool, and dance, I get to take her and watch her as she blossoms into a 'big girl'. She is an awesome kid, I absolutely adore her and I wish her the happiest birthday ever!~

Here are a few pictures documenting Lindsay's life:

Sleeping angel. She still has these stuffed animals and plays with them and about 800 others every day.
Lindsay hanging out with her favorite Uncle Aaron.

Just hanging out. Probably watching something on PBS.

Yea, right, like California winters are cold enough to dress like this! Ha!

As a baby, she always enjoyed squeezing into tiny places to play.

Here she is around 18 months or so. Pretty Baby Girl.

Yesterday: Lindsay's last day of being 4 years old!

Today! September 21: Happy 5th Birthday, Little Lindsay Lu-Lu!

Oh Well...

Chloe Jane didn't win that homecoming royalty thingy.... the little sisters and I were kinda bummed for her, but she didn't mind. She was very gracious about it and was happy for the gal who did win! It's still cool that she was even nominated. :)

Here's Chloe!

Here is a cute self-portrait of super-cool Chloe. She was nominated for "Homecoming Royalty" at her high school. The voting is tomorrow, so we'll see what happens. I don't know exactly what happens if she wins.... she's obviously part of the homecoming royalty and will be in a lot of pictures and such.... I don't really know what she'll get to do. She's excited. She already knows that she is Queen Chloe around here!!!

First Day of School

Here are the girls on their first day of school. Haley started 6th grade, Nat started 3rd and Lindsay began her second year of preschool. (and yes, that lovely water spot on her shirt dried before we got to school.) I do have a 4th child, Chloe.... she seems to be gone all the time when I am taking pictures. I'll try to get one of her at her next tennis match!
