Happy 16th Birthday Chloe Jane the Pain!

Well, the day finally arrived! Chloe's 16th birthday!
Chloe was born on 10-28-92, at 7:34 am
6 lbs. 8 oz.
19 inches long
Now my baby is driving herself to Grammie's house to pick up some items left there from the dance the other night.
Driving! By herself!
Oh dear!
Chloe has had a nice day so far. Gene and I took her to IHOP for breakfast this morning:

Then to the DMV:

Waiting in the DMV:
See those gorgeous diamond earrings she is wearing? They are the birthday gift from her loving parents!

Got it!!

Then she came home from school with some presents from her pals at school!
Yea!

Chloe's friends Justin and Drew made her these super cute "Chloe" cookies!

Happy Birthday to my oldest daughter!

RIP Dance, SHHS 2008! woo hoo!!

Chloe had a great time at the RIP Halloween dance on Saturday.
This is the dance where she asked Justin with the shaving cream -filled balloons and he answered using tons of candy (that we call "Justin Candy" and still have! and yes, we will be passing out the rest of it for Halloween!) Chloe and several tennis pals and their dates had a fun night.
Their theme was SPORTS. Chloe and Justin were cool track stars. There were also some referees, golf, tennis, ping pong and karate!
The kids had a great night!
Here are some pics:

Practicing their Power Walking skills.

Chloe the cool track star.

Justin! He is so super excited about going to the dance with my princess!

The whole gang!

This part of the evening was held at Chloe's BFF Debryn's Grammie's house. This house is soooo cool! The area the kids are in now is the basement and it's HUGE! I called it the Cultural Hall.
Seriously, it's the neatest house. If you take a flight of stairs down from this Cultural Hall, you enter the Racket Ball Court!!
Coooool!

Um, Justin, please remove your hand from my daughter!
Kidding!!
The girls in this group did such a great job planning. They had a full dinner, carving pumpkins and other games. Then they had a great time at the dance!
Look, behind the kids are a few steps into another huge area!
This is just the down stairs of this house!
Cool house! Thanks, Grammie!
:)

Nat the classic car enthusiast!

Nat LOVES old cars! Anytime we drive past one, she excitedly points it out.
About a month ago we went to that really cool park in Provo Canyon for a family picnic.
As we pulled into the parking lot, Nat's eyes lit up. There were around 15 classic cars parked in the lot. We just so happened to get to the park at the same time a classic car group of some kind were getting together for a drive through the canyon. We were able to walk around and check out all the cool cars, Nat was in Heaven!
Well, this last Friday a small car dealership in town was hosting a classic car show and I brought the kids. Nat loved it.
Here are a few pics of Nat and her beloved cars:

Check out the cool interior!

Chloe really liked this one!
What's Linds doing?
who knows...

Nat's favorite.

Lindsay even found a car her size!

I love it how all 4 of my girls have their different likes and interests!
Nat and her love of old cars just melts my heart!

Our family day in SLC

We had such a fun day on Friday. The girls were out of school for fall break (UEA, or more technically: Huntin' Season Begins! yeeee hawww!) and Gene took a vacation day and we headed out to SLC. Chloe drove us there (oh my, oh my, oh my) but we did get there, and began our fun outing at our favorite place to eat:
The Olive Garden:

smile, Nat! :)

Then we spent the afternoon at Clarke Planetarium:

Cholo, the channel 2 weather gal!

The girls had fun on the moon:

And on Mars!

Then we went and saw an IMAX show, "Deep Sea" narrated by Johnny-the hunk-Depp and Kate Winslet.

The flip-flop sistas...
waiting in line for our cool IMAX

Ready to go with our cool glasses!
This movie was such a blast. It made me miss the ocean even more.
It was fantastic!

Then we hit the gift store.
Linds ALWAYS finds the bugs!
She ended up choosing a little bug container that has a magnifying glass attached on top so when you put a buggie-boo in the container, you can see it up close and personal! Yea!
Chloe and Haley picked out neat little anklets and Nat a ROCK necklace. (Lindsay=Bugs, Natalie=Rocks)

BYU Homecoming!

Gene scored 6 BYU tix off of E-Bay today for $10 a piece. Yeah, we were way up high in the nosebleed seats, but it really didn't matter! We had a great view and a really fun night!
It got pretty cold by the end of the game, but we were prepared for it.
Go BYU!
BYU v. New Mexico!

Crowds were still getting situated, it was a sold out game tonight.

Spirit Week!

Spirit Week:
Monday:
Red, White & Blue Day/Crazy Hair Day:

Tuesday:
Nerd Day:
I totally drew her glasses on! (I used Chloe's cool black eyeliner! hee hee hee)

There's that Sponge Bob shirt again.
She created a Sponge Bob Club that day.

On her name tag, Haley spelled her name:
H-A-L-E=mc2-Y

Wednesday:
Rock Star Day:

The only Rock Star thing about Lindsay was that I colored part of her hair red and she wore her ultra cool ScoobyDo sunglasses.

Thursday:
Pirate Day:

ARRRRRG!
It was a fun/kinda stressful week as we had to come up with costumes and do hair and such for 3 girls every morning, but it was awesome!
