One week 'till the big Ultrasound!!

Can I just say how much I am enjoying this pregnancy?!  I feel so blessed to be able to go through this one last time, and I am having such a great time.
My last 2 pregnancies my uterus was very "active".  I was on bed rest with meds while prego with Nat and I had frequent braxton hicks with Linds from week 10.  This time around my uterus is nice and quiet!  I've just started having a few b/h here and there, but nothing too bad.  Besides my being totally exhausted, all is well and I feel great!

Next Thursday at 10:30 am is the ultrasound.  I won't quite be 20 weeks, I'll be 19 weeks, 3 days, but close enough.  All the girls and Gene will be there.  We are very anxious and are looking forward to seeing our baby on the big screen.

I'll update in a week!

Happy 7th Birthday Lindsay Lu-Lu!

Lindsay loves animals. So this year I was trying to figure out an animal-themed birthday party.
Then I remembered the Teddy Bear Picnics Miss Maureen used to have at the end of her preschool year (at the end, or at the beginning?)
This year Lindsay had a Teddy Bear Picnic birthday party, "BYOB" or "Bring your own BEAR"
;)
She had 7 buddies come and everyone enjoyed the Teddy Bear Festivities!
They all thought this was a stuffed animal sitting on a plate. Nope, it's a real Bear Cake!
Thanks to Robin for allowing me to use her bear cake molds and decorating tools and a huge thanks to Michelle C. for coming over and getting me started on the decorating!
Didn't Michelle do a fantastic job on the bear's cute face?!
Here are all the Teddy Bears welcoming the guests!

oooo! Teddy Bear goodie bags!

Our largest Teddy served as the official Welcoming Bear.

Here is our Teddy Bear Picnic!

Teddy sandwiches (PB & Honey, of course), Teddy Grahams, Gummy Bears....

We played games with our Teddies... relay races....Freeze dance....

Duck-Duck-Bear....

Mostly everyone wanted to party in our backyard... tramp, sandbox, swings....

Then it was time for cake!
Teddy Bear cake turned into Alien Teddy with the candles.

She was beaming as we sang to her....

Awesome job, 7 year old!!!

Oh my, Teddy lost his legs. :(

Presents!
"Open mine first, Lindsay! NO open MINE!!!!"

This one cracked me up.... Alex's mom made Linds an adorable poster using candy and small toys telling her happy birthday! We never did see how it was supposed to look, here Alex is ripping each item off the poster and handing it to Linds!!! Hee hee, kids are awesome.
It was a wonderful day for my darling daughter.
Afterwards she declared to me:
"Mom, it was a GREAT party!"
Happy Birthday, sweetheart.
