Look who got asked to JR. Prom:

This arrived on our doorstep last night. Chloe was out babysitting, so Haley got it and called her right away to tell her she had been asked to prom.
Fun stuff!

This is what Socks thinks of it.
This is from Kyle, the hockey boy. The guy she went to Sweetheart's with.
Now she has to come up with a clever way to answer him back....
Any suggestions? Something with Batman?

Remember how I told you all how much Lindsay loves her stuffed animals??

She wanted to make sure they all watched "Polar Express" with her.

This is maybe 1/3 of the stuffed animals we have in this house. Maybe.
(I like the ones wrapped up toasty warm in the blanket)
Good times.

Nat's new do:

We all had our hair cut yesterday by Veronica, our trusty and wonderful family hair dresser!
Nat decided to get some bangs!
Here are some before, during, and after pics:
(Veronica and I were laughing at how many pictures I own that look like this! With a kid on the stool and her smiling in the background!)

(I wish I had taken a picture before we straightened her hair, Nat looked exactly like Hayley Mills in the Parent Trap!)

Doesn't she look so cute!? The fun thing is that when she doesn't want bangs, she can pull them back, no problem. Today she wore a headband and looked adorable. Don't you think the bangs really show off her pretty eyes?
My hair cut, Chloe's, Nat's, Lindsay's AND Chloe's and my eyebrows= $45 (including tip)
We are so lucky to have Veronica! She's been taking care of us for 3 years now and we just love her! (and Cameron, her 3 yr. old son!)

Busy, busy are we...

Hello all!
We've been having lots of fun around here, busy fun!
School Talent Show:
Busy AND talented kids:
Haley accompanied her friend Callen on the piano as Callen sang "Only Hope" from the movie "A Walk to Remember". How I wish I could post videos! This girl has the most amazing voice. These two girls were quite the team.
Nat and 2 others did "Pillow People" (started by Amanda Mishler back at Loomis Grammar), it was most hilarious!
Lindsay played two songs on the piano. She did a perfect job and did a lovely curtsy afterwards.
Busy kindergartener:
Lindsay talking to the talent show judges.

Playing her two songs.
She's getting to be a good little piano player!

Haley playing the first part of her 6-page song! (or is it 7 pages?)

Callen and her amazingly-beautiful voice.

(no pictures of Pillow People in action, I was busy backstage helping and Chloe didn't think to snap any pictures since Gene was recording the act on our super cool 1995 HUGE video camera. bummer)

Lindsay and Reagan with their beloved kindergarten teacher, Ms. Phillips. (who is one busy lady, for sure!)

Busy teenagers:
A few weeks ago Chloe went on a 2 day trip to Ogden for a DECA competition.(a marketing club at school) She gets to wear business-type clothing and everything, it's way cool.
Have her tell you about the young man she met while she was there...
The young man, who lives in Ogden, is coming down here for a visit on Saturday! oh my...

Jack even has had busy days! The spring weather means kids playing outside, and he LOVES having his kids play outside with him!
This is one happy dog~

Busy fingers:
Haley playing in a sound-proof room in the music department at UVU (Utah Valley University).
She was here for a piano competition. She played before 3 judges and received a "Superior" rating!
I really wish I could share with you how amazing this kid is on the piano.

Busy times in primary. Lindsay is helping with singing time as the chorister teaches a new song!

Busy mom as I prepare over 60 green popcorn balls for Nat's St. Patrick's Day party at school AND Lindsay's party AND extras for Haley to hand out to friends.
And of course, this isn't all we've done in the past few weeks, no way!!! We were even busier than what you see here, but I'm too BUSY to post it all!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Great Job, Natalie Jo!

Nat did such a great job on her science fair project. She's been taking care of the little plants all month and recording their growth. The science fair was today and Nat received the "Excellence in Life Science" award!
Everyone enjoyed her work!
Well done, daughter!

Her award.
