...is moving to Germany!! Their next transfer is to Ramstein Air force Base, Germany. They are leaving in a few months.
The cool thing is that Ramstein is only about 75 miles from Frankfurt, so Gene will definitely be visiting with them this summer when goes he back to Europe!
Yay for the Sturms! I told her I would pass along this fun news on my blog, so there you go!!

Yummy delicious-ness
My very best friend in all of Indiana, Mandee Luke ;) makes this wonderful chicken-alfredo pizza, and I've been wanting to make it for months and months.
So I did.
I made this whole pizza for me since Gene is in CA and the girls wouldn't touch it!
I am a pig, I know.
Anyhow, here it is.. I added a few extra items, mushrooms and artichoke hearts.
It was great, can't wait to eat the other half tomorrow!
:)
love ya Mandee!
Another dance, another fun way to ask:
Well, Sweetheart's Dance is coming up on Valentine's Day. It's a "girls' choice" so Chloe had to figure out a fun way to ask the boy she wants to go with. She decided to make him a cake and decorate it and all that fun stuff.
She made the cake and then when it came time to decorate it, I asked her what she was going to place the cake on when she gave it to the boy. There was no way in heck-a-roo that I was going to let her give him the cake in my 9x13 pampered chef....
So after calling almost everyone in the ward, she found someone (thanks Bradley's!)who had a disposable 9x13 foil pan. The cake totally fell apart as Chloe was transferring it to the foil pan!
Ooops!
Oh well, she did a great job at frosting it and covered up all the mess. She also wrote her name on the bottom of the pan, plus, put her name on a piece of paper and stuffed it into the cake.
Then it came time to decide WHAT to write upon the lovely cake.
This was later in the evening, after YW's, and Jaimee Lynn was over, so the 3 of us were brainstorming and laughing and being all silly.... and this is what I came up with:
I know, I know... I am amazing....
Enjoy the cake, Boy.

President Obama:
I let the girls go into school about 1 1/2 hours late this morning so that they could witness this historic inauguration.
It was very exciting. I told the girls that they will be able to tell their children that they witnessed this historical day on TV and that this day will be written in their children's' text books! Wow!

I'm still here.... Kinda
Hello all!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's. We were in CA for almost 2 weeks enjoying family and friends. It was a great 2 weeks *sigh* how we miss our peeps in CA.
I've been pretty busy since we got home. First of all, I received a new calling: Sunbeams teacher! I'm very happy about it and love the 5 little ones I have in class. Fun stuff.
The biggest reason for my busy-ness is that I have a job! Two jobs, actually. I am now employed at my girls' charter school, about 1 mile from here. I work M-F, 11-1 as a lunch worker (I am the lunch lady!), and then M-TH 1-3 as the librarian. I am working with my great friend Kristy for both of these jobs and we make a great team. Basically I work everyday, but never more than 4-5 hours, so it's perfect. I'm home when the girls are home, I'm off when they don't have school, it's awesome!
It's going to great having the extra income and I love feeling so productive! This week was my first official work week and I survived just fine. I've been able to do housework in the morning or afternoon just fine and it's all good!
There's a quick update for ya... the girls are all doing fine, back to school and loving life. Gene is busy as ever at work and will be in CA for an entire week soon later in the month....So far we are happy and healthy and are enjoying this new year!
See ya'll later!
