Harrison Family came for a visit

Sally Ann and Nathan Harrison came by for a quick visit Sunday morning. Of course they brought along their two adorable babes: Annie and Carter. Our girls had a blast playing with their baby cousins, and we all had a nice time watching Sunday morning conference together.
They currently live in Idaho, by Boise. They had come down to attend Sally's dad's missionary reunion. We were glad they came by! It was a fun visit. :)

Chloe the tennis pro...

Nice toss, Chloe!
She had a fun season, but now it's over. She was #3 on the team this year and improved her game big time! Now she can focus more on her studies, grades and oh my goodness! Studying the DMV booklet and passing the test to get her learner's permit..... no way.... can this be true??? I'm afraid so... but only if she maintains all A's. (mean mom)
:)

Halloween Pumpkins!

These are the largest of our pumpkins from our crazy pumpkin patch in our backyard. Right now that huge one is sitting in the wheel barrow in front of our porch, that's all I can do for now. I'll have to wait for Gene to get home to help me place it on our porch! We have several other pumpkins growing, but the other day we had snow and the frost pretty much killed the pumpkin plant, so we'll end up with around 4-5 pumpkins. It's been fun watching this plant grow and grow and watching the baby pumpkins grow into monster ones!

Lindsay Amelia Lawson is 5 Today

Today my little Lindsay-Lu turns 5 years old. She went off to preschool this morning ultra excited! She got to bring special sprinkle cookies to share with her class. She ran into the preschool declaring: "I am now 5 years old! Soon, I will be going to kindergarten!!!!!"
Lindsay is such a sweetheart. Chloe is right about her being spoiled... she kinda is. She's our BABY! She is a funny little girl with a huge imagination and has a love of learning, books and of course, bugs. She's my pal. I so love this time I have with her each day. The others are off to school and Lindsay and I plan our day and hang out. I feel so privileged to be a stay at home mum where I get to be her care taker and get to witness all the joy she has in her life. Her library class, preschool, and dance, I get to take her and watch her as she blossoms into a 'big girl'. She is an awesome kid, I absolutely adore her and I wish her the happiest birthday ever!~

Here are a few pictures documenting Lindsay's life:

Sleeping angel. She still has these stuffed animals and plays with them and about 800 others every day.
Lindsay hanging out with her favorite Uncle Aaron.

Just hanging out. Probably watching something on PBS.

Yea, right, like California winters are cold enough to dress like this! Ha!

As a baby, she always enjoyed squeezing into tiny places to play.

Here she is around 18 months or so. Pretty Baby Girl.

Yesterday: Lindsay's last day of being 4 years old!

Today! September 21: Happy 5th Birthday, Little Lindsay Lu-Lu!

Oh Well...

Chloe Jane didn't win that homecoming royalty thingy.... the little sisters and I were kinda bummed for her, but she didn't mind. She was very gracious about it and was happy for the gal who did win! It's still cool that she was even nominated. :)

Here's Chloe!

Here is a cute self-portrait of super-cool Chloe. She was nominated for "Homecoming Royalty" at her high school. The voting is tomorrow, so we'll see what happens. I don't know exactly what happens if she wins.... she's obviously part of the homecoming royalty and will be in a lot of pictures and such.... I don't really know what she'll get to do. She's excited. She already knows that she is Queen Chloe around here!!!

First Day of School

Here are the girls on their first day of school. Haley started 6th grade, Nat started 3rd and Lindsay began her second year of preschool. (and yes, that lovely water spot on her shirt dried before we got to school.) I do have a 4th child, Chloe.... she seems to be gone all the time when I am taking pictures. I'll try to get one of her at her next tennis match!
