We had such a fun day on Friday. The girls were out of school for fall break (UEA, or more technically: Huntin' Season Begins! yeeee hawww!) and Gene took a vacation day and we headed out to SLC. Chloe drove us there (oh my, oh my, oh my) but we did get there, and began our fun outing at our favorite place to eat:

Then we spent the afternoon at Clarke Planetarium:

Then we went and saw an IMAX show, "Deep Sea" narrated by Johnny-the hunk-Depp and Kate Winslet.

Then we hit the gift store.
She ended up choosing a little bug container that has a magnifying glass attached on top so when you put a buggie-boo in the container, you can see it up close and personal! Yea!

This movie was such a blast. It made me miss the ocean even more.

We have never been to the Clarke Planetarium, didn't even know it exsisted. We will put that on the agenda for sure next time we come..it looks like so much fun! I love family days!!
Your girls are so cute. We definitely need to go there the next time we're in SLC. My boys would love it. J would be right there with the bugs too.
We have never been to the Clarke Planetarium either, but it looks like lots of fun. Your girls all look like you! I can't believe you have a driving teen. I have started to think about my almost 12 year old will be driving sooner than I know it and that scares me!
