Lawson Girls Update:

Here's a quick update on our girls:
Chloe has finished her Personal Progress!
She should be getting her YW's medallion very soon! Yay Chloe, we are so proud of you!
Vroom, vroom! Is that a car I see in your future?!
Also, she brought home straight A's this term!
U of U, here she comes! (or maybe BYU, Cholo?) :)
Haley's latest piano piece:
Haley picked up the music for "Only Hope" from the movie "A Walk to Remember" and has already mastered the 7 page song. She will be accompanying her friend Callan for a school talent show in March. Callan has an amazing voice and together these girls sound crazy professional!
She will be playing the prelude music for this week's youth fireside. Haley the piano kid!
Lots of science projects going on around here:
Natalie has been working on a science project for a week now. Here we have 3 pots, one filled with regular old dirt. One filled with dirt and a fertilizer stick and one filled with yummy, rich Miracle Grow. Then she planted daisies! Which pot do YOU think will sprout first?
You're right! The Miracle Grow pot has sprouted first, followed by the fertilizer stick.
These pots are in our office and when the blinds are pulled up, it is a full on greenhouse in here! Toasty warm.
Just tonight she made a cool volcano with the soda bottle, baking soda, vinegar and food coloring and had to do a write-up on that.
Nat is the science queen.

Lindsay, the crazy reader:
Lindsay started kindergarten as a very beginner reader. About a month ago the whole reading thing totally clicked and she can't stop reading. This is her tonight after she took a million books from the bookshelf and read for almost an hour. I love it when she reads to me while I'm preparing dinner, it's the best! She is a super book worm, well, I must tell you, she has ALWAYS loved books, but now that she can actually READ, she is loving them even more (especially if they are about dinosaurs, snakes or animals of any kind!).
One more thing I must brag about.
Lindsay has been taking piano since August. She's doing pretty well. She loves it and is catching on very quickly. Just recently we have noticed that she can play by ear! Now it's a family game where one of us will say..."Linds, go play Happy Birthday", and she does! Primary songs, Christmas songs, you name it, she'll play it!

As for me? Well, I am loving teaching Sunbeams. Just today my favorite little guy, Landon, kept calling me Mister Lawson! awwwww, so sweet!

Gene is great, too! Going to CA again soon for more business and is still the greatest husband and dad in the world!

We are a happy faaaamaaallleeeeee!
