Hoppy Easter!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
We did!
We were kinda preparing for it all weekend. Saturday Lindsay and I made delish sugar cookies and Haley and I made a lovely Jello Mold for Sunday dinner.
Saturday evening we spent decorating our super over-cooked eggs!
Sunday morning the girls woke up to their fun filled Easter baskets, then we were off to church. We came back and did the egg hunt.
Then we all prepared our Easter Feast!
It was a great day, I loved that we were home and spent the holiday together.
We have spring break this next week and are sooo excited about it!

Jack got excited and claimed an egg! The chocolate fell out and we grabbed it before he could chomp it. He LOVED having the girls outside hunting eggs!
Jack, the happy go-lucky Easter Pup!
(see the little green egg? He later chewed it up!)

This girl is turning 10 in 2 weeks. I have no idea how that happened. She is supposed to be 5.

This picture got me thinking: Next year will be the last "regular" year of Chloe being home and doing Easter with us. After next year she'll be off to college and will be home visiting...
I'm sorry, but that just breaks my heart!

We got yummy new sand for that turtle sandbox in the background! Lifting three 50 pound bags of sand is probably what threw my back out! duh!

Our lovely spread:
Roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, cool jello mold, homemade rolls and delish pink lemonade crystal light for drink! We pulled out our few pieces of fancy china, crystal glassware and had a tablecloth and cloth napkins for the occasion!
It seriously was a wonderful meal!
Happy Easter to all!

Whoa, that's very cool. Nice dinner. We did turkey too. Jeff did most of it, but it wears me out! Cute egg finding pics!
