Gene has to keep reminding me that I'm not even DUE yet! Feb. 23 is one due date, Feb. 17 is the ultrasound due date! How about today for the due date?! :0)
On Monday I got a lovely shot of morphine to put me out. The midwives called it "Medicinal Rest". Their hopes were that my body could get a really good rest, regroup, then I would wake up and go into active labor! Nope! However, I did sleep. I slept on Monday from 10:30 am to 6 pm, then went back to bed at 9 pm- 7 am. It was heaven. I took 2 naps that next day, too! Because my nights are so bad ( I cramp and have contractions and hurt) I was given a lovely prescription for some other drugs and they are helping me get some sleep. I can handle all the pain during the day, I cannot handle no sleep and still be the mommy of 4 children and all that fun stuff. So for now I am a VERY happy camper! Give me sleep at night, I can handle the days, this baby boy can come when he's good and ready! I had a good 5 hour stretch of sleep last night and today I cleaned 2 bathrooms, including mopping the floors and washing towels! Ok, now I'm kinda pooped out, but it was really cool having that energy.
Baby Marc will come when he's ready! I am at peace with that. I see my midwife tomorrow at 2:10 pm and I'll see if I've made any progress.

I know you don't want to wait any longer but next Thursday who be a GREAT day to have a baby. Then we would share a b-day! I hope he comes soon and everything goes okay. I can't wait to see him!
