I let Haley stay home from school today, she's hurting and it's hard for her to talk!

Queen Elizabeth fell off her BIKE:
Poor Haley had a bike accident yesterday. She was riding home from her friend's house and was going a bit too fast and crashed. Since the snow has all melted away, there are tons of pebbles and rocks on the sides of the streets, so I think that was the reason she crashed. I took her to the doctor because I was worried about teeth and other injuries and good thing I did. After Dr. Miller cleaned her up, he discovered a huge gash between her nose and upper lip and put in 3 stitches. Here she is all swollen, with her lovely stitches and scrapes and cuts! She has road rash in her hands, as well as tiny pebbles in between her teeth! She had to floss the rocks out. No loose teeth, but we will have to keep watching in case the top teeth start turning color... Hopefully that won't happen.

Man. That is not the funnest way to spend a warm afternoon. Haley you are one tough cookie and now you have the pictures to prove it.
I guess even a queen has to fall sometime! Poor thing. That picture looks like it hurts so much! Give her my best. I hope she heals fast!
